1. Current cookie posture
ALOS Public does not intentionally use advertising cookies, behavioral analytics cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or personalization cookies at this time. Aggregate first-party page and conversion counts may be recorded without cookies or persistent visitor identifiers.
2. Cloudflare cookies
ALOS Public is delivered through Cloudflare. Depending on the security and traffic features enabled for a request, Cloudflare may set cookies that it classifies as strictly necessary. Examples documented by Cloudflare include __cf_bm for bot-management functions, cf_clearance for challenge state, __cflb for load-balancer session affinity, and _cfuvid for certain rate-limiting configurations. Not every visitor will receive every cookie.
3. Why there is no cookie banner right now
Cookie-consent rules generally distinguish strictly necessary technologies from optional tracking technologies. Because ALOS Public is currently configured without intentional non-essential advertising or analytics cookies, we do not show an optional-cookie consent banner. This does not prevent browsers or Cloudflare from using strictly necessary security cookies when required for the requested service.
4. Future changes
If ALOS Public later adds analytics, advertising, personalization, session-replay, or other non-essential tracking, those technologies should remain disabled until appropriate notice and consent controls are implemented where required. This policy should be updated at the same time.
5. Browser controls
You can inspect, block, or delete cookies using your browser settings. Blocking necessary security cookies may cause challenges to repeat or may prevent parts of the Site from functioning correctly.
